hi all, ok... open boot,....remove panel which exposes petrol tank, top left there is a hooked petrol pipe that has come away from the tank ! About the size of an old shilling maybe soldered on..... how can i refix without heat, may be a glue or paste suitable........any ideas please thankyou neil.

Probably the vent pipe so must be air-tight as it unsafe to leave it open.
They are soldered in but an Epoxy metal based adhesive many work as long as it states it fuel resistant. Mesure the flexi pipe fitted to it is secured so as not to place strain on it

JB Weld is a very useful epoxy adhesive.

hi phil just had a thought, before i epoxy weld the pipe back on to the tank, is there an internal pipe or tube that may of fell off, why i ask is when i cleaned the end of the pipe base to re afix there seemed to be a neopreen type washer i peeled away from the base, its just got me thinking ? regards neil
