I have a replacement Petrol pipe inner (convoluted tube) to replace in my 1971 P5b Coupe. However, whilst twisting the hinged fuel filler cap I have managed to crack the casting just above the hinge. The chrome cover is fine, but I need the assembly that screws into the Fuel Filler rear wing aperture. Does anyone have a suitable replacement? or any suggestions on whether any alternative available? I've added a photo and ringed where the casting has broken. Wondering now whether it is easier to remove the chrome cap and then, with easier access to the hinge pin, remove the pin and just replace mechanism under the chrome cap? Anyone tried removing that pin?

Thanks, I have already emailled David Green and keeping fingers crossed he may have one available. Meanwhile I thought I'd ask on the Forum as well.
