The Gentlemen who owns this car says that this is how it came of the factory line with a Zircon Blue roof . It's the first time I have seen this combination before and wonder if that's true.

What happened to the pin stripe on the body? That should be there in Zircon Blue if genuine.

He said the body had paintwork so that's why the coachline had not been replaced.

The car now owned by Cairns Galbraith came from the factory in Silver Birch with an Arden Green roof, so I see no reason to doubt that the dark roof / light body combination was available.

It may well have been a special option finish direct from the factory. However the lower half has been resprayed. The lack of blue pinstripe is a giveaway.
Two tone colours were an optional extra on the coupes, and if no option was asked for they came out the factory in single colours.
The car needs a good close scrutiny to see if there is any evidence of recolouring when respraying took place.
I must admit that I have an open mind on this one.

Its taken me ages to find this, forgive me im a bit of a newbie. This is the grave i was trying to rake up!!!! The car left the factory in these colours, found that out while also finding it misses out on free tax by about 5 weeks!! Cant seem to find another in this combo and just intrigued to see if there are others in these colours.
