>:(Hopefully everyone will now have a form for the national in September. Can I ask, please, that you all read the form carefully before sending it off. Cheques should be made payable to the club, as printed on the form NOT ME. Also please do not forget to enclose an sae. Any other misdemeanors will be posted on the forum !

:oI have now sent out tickets to all those who included SAEs with their forms. If you do not receive yours by mid week it means that you omitted to include an SAE, as requested on the entry form. This is not a problem as the NINE (!) that I have will be waiting at the gate on the day. If you have any concerns call me (George) on 01903 872167 or leave a message on this site. I could name and shame but I do not wish to embarrass anyone ! As a region we are passing on all monies received to HQ (!) and therefore have nothing left for stamps.

George.......
Can you clarify please.
I will NOT be bringing a Rover to the National, and will NOT be using the hotel or attending the dinner.
Do I still need to fill in the form (not enclosing an SAE ;D) and send you payment in advance, or do I have to park down the road and pay at the gate on the day ?

Hi Smallfry,
If you arrive in an unprebooked non Rover car you may have difficulty getting past the Leonardslea staff. Usually there is not a problem with non booked Rovers as it is assumed that they are part of the rally and anyone is very welcome to just turn up on the day. Of the £7 per car that we are charging I think that £6 is going to Leonardslea. The normal charge is £6 PER PERSON. If you are coming on your own you can save £1 by parking with other garden visitors and walking into the rally (we will not charge you ! but you may get cornered for raffle tickets !) If you are bringing several passengers, to admire the Rovers, I would advise pre booking.
