::)Picked up one of the table top glossies today who have rather a smart Boardeu red Coupe for their staff car. These people in the main do not get their hands dirty and leave it to tradesman Has been having some overheating problems and managed to source a secondhand rad fron David Green and looks like he has tried to sort it out (with help) He is still having running probs though but likes it a lot - no mention as usual of the club and obviously has not looked on this forum as he could easily sort this out - perhaps I am in the wrong job

Which glossy mag was that Phil?
Looks like a job for our PR man to get in touch with the mag, and promote our club as the best way of getting useful information to keep the car up to scratch. Mind you another thought if the car was OK all the time they would have nothing to write up for the mag.

Not CLASSIC CAR - other well known long established one for which the name escapes me for now!

I certainly would not buy such mags and hardly ever even bother looking at them!

Not even pretending to look at them, while actually looking at the top shelf then ?

Magazine may have been Classic and SPorts Car or Classic Cars. I think the car was purchased from an area rep and I would have thought that any overheating issue would have been sorted. I didn't like the white banded tyres though!! I will see if I still have the relevant Magazine but I might have passed it on by now. Cheers

Could it have been the now defunct Somerset area reps car?
