You wouldnt be the guy in the high vis vest who fancies himself directing planes on an aircraft carrier ? Last year I turned round and went home because there was nowhere to park within a half sensible distance Have they done anything about it this year do you know ? What is the entrance fee this year ? Apart from excessive I mean !

Hello smallfry, dont know about the high vis vest? But you forgot about the mirrored sunglasses, with the mirrors on the inside I know the parking is a nightmare, but before I started parking in the one make on site I used to get there quite early and go in the hayes farm parking entrance? As for cost, are you sitting down? £10.00 but I feel thats not bad when you think you get to see nearly 3000 cars plus all the stalls (I spent a small fortune last year).

Hi fellas, wish I'd seen these posts earlier. I was there today with my mk2 saloon in the main display area. I'd originally booked a stand for the A40 Farina club (long story) but they let me down so I put the Rover on the stand instead. When I contacted the Kent group it didn't sound as though anyone had booked a stand, so I nabbed a couple of latecomers (Keith, Admiralty blue P5B coupe, and another chap in a blue P5 coupe) and we made one of our own. I went to the one-make parking to begin with but everyone had disappeared! How about we book a proper stand for next year -- free entry, free programme and a spot right near the main arena. Andy, if you're SE London we must be pretty close, I'm SE9 -- fancy going to Kent area meet at Green Street Green this Weds? If so give me a bell, 07815 088885 Cheers

Hi Andy, it's the Ship, details are in the Area Meets page on the site and in Take 5 Looks like I'm going to have to miss it though as the car has a few gremlins, long story
