This is not a rally This is not a trackday. This is not a rolling road. There are no rally plaques. There are no awards. There is no raffle! This is the Thiird Annual Saab Lazy Sunday. An opportunity to get together with other enthusiasts (and a few other marques - last year we had Rovers and Citroens) to talk cars, enjoy Sunday lunch (pub location yet to be confirmed), indulge in your favourite beverage then travel in convoy to a local attraction, which this year is the small but perfectly formed Atwell Wilson Car Museum in Calne. www.atwellwilson.org.uk No need to book, send money or fill out an application form. Just turn up on the day. It does help however to get an idea of the potential numbers so please add your name here. 1) David D

David I won't add my name just yet, but will wait until you tell us the lunchtime venue. I know that there are a few members of the two local clubs I belong to are interested to go to the museum so I will be giving the details to them and see if we can get some more cars to join you.

The more the merrier.
Pub location/size of car park will depend on estimated numbers.

Thanks for the further info David. Sods Law prevails though at the moment as it could well be the weekend I intend to go up to York for the Humber gathering. If it doesn't take place then I will probably be along.

Well the weather forecast is likely to put a bit of a dampner on tomorrow, and I expect a few will not venture out in case the rain melts their cars away. See you tomorrow

Nice pics David, it looks like the two stroke Saab and mine were the two oldest cars there. A nice day out though, even if the weather only cleared up just as we were about to leave the Museum. At least there were four P5 OC members in attendance, two with good excuses for not coming with theirs and one who didn't want to get his car wet as it would take him a day just to clean the grille. I did mention it only took a brush, hosepipe, and leather to clean it, and about half to threequarters of an hour to complete the job. He just grinned. With all that rain suprisingly mine was hardly dirty and won't take long to get it back to standard.
