Hi gents, another reason for your drive shaft vibration might be that wacky floating center bearing mount.I haven't really looked or thought about it ,but I'm shore you could put better bearing and mount setup in,how hard can it be?.I haven't seen the standard Y bush setup but I'm sure shackle would be better. If you fabricate your own bush tube for spring you could have spring close to rail as long as shackle swings away from rail when spring is compressed it may need some sort of stop so shackle doesn't turn inside out keep in mind shackle doesn't have to be strait

Warwick, the shackle mod to the P5 Rover that Neal is working on was done by another company.
On a personal note, the standard of work on the shackles though functional, in my opinion is not up to the quality of Neal's work.

Hi Guys, Here is the next instalment of 'Nods' (Neal's) modification to the P5B Lexus V8 Project. I'm simply going to insert the pictures with minimal descriptive text and let Neal fill in the details. The aluminium billet steering column incorporating the 'tilt' steering wheel The remote dual circuit brake booster (EA Ford Falcon) is a copy of the method I used in my MK3 P5 Coupe (30 years ago) when I was rebuilding and modifying the car for dual circuit brakes. The booster is mounted in the boot and hydraulically driven by a slave cylinder from the car's original single circuit master cylinder. The custom handbrake mechanism and drivers seat in place to check for clearance and operation. The lexus V8 in situ. Note clearance between radiator and front of engine. The Jaguar front suspension completed but minus springs Note the wiring nightmare yet to be sorted!
