I saw that a couple of days ago Glenn I would think the pictures are a bit flattering if the seats were done professionally sadly the covers weren't fitted very well whoever takes it on has a lot of work inside and out but possibly a good project

I had dealings with the previous owner of the car, who had done the engine transplant etc. He told me that he had also modified the subframe so that the engine sat further back in the car. If so, he must have had the propshaft shortened as well. He wasn't clear about why he did this....

Not being funny but alot of mods don't need to be done..they just choose to be done.

If you look at the engine bay picture, you can just make out some details. It looks like the engine has come from a land/range rover, and this has been grafted in with all the associated parts ( more importantly, the front timing case, water pump, viscous fan and crank pulley). If this is the case then there would not have been enough room in front of the engine. Or because it has been converted to manual transmission,it may have required the engine to be placed further back, the LT77 5 speed is smaller than the autobox,so the gear selector would have been way up towards the crash rail. Just a thought

That all makes sense. It sounds like the engine has to be moved backwards for this conversion, unless the timing cover, water pump etc is kept as standard P5B, and a remote gear linkage is made-up for the manual 'box.

I have to admire the work people put into modifications. I would not have a clue tbh
