A wonderful example of what can be done to ruin 2 vehicles. Having said that, the colour scheme is something to behold!!!

I actually don't mind when people do things like this. I admire the skill and ingenuity. He did say that the car was a rotten wreck.
But I don't like it when someone cuts up a perfectly good car, that is becoming scarce. That's not to say that I like the way this one turned out. The Strange Rover looked better. I don't like the high lift.

I quite like it......well you knew i would ;-)) However it's a bit to high for my liking. At least it keeps another P5 on the road in whatever guise.

Well, imho, if the P5 was rotten, why not customise it? P5's are not so rare that every one deserves to be restored to factory-fresh condition. Also, Disco's are plentiful, so it seems like a reasonable combination. Not being an off-roader, I'm not keen on the suspension height (which will probably ruin its manners on-road,) but if that's what the builder wanted, good luck to him! From the description, some proper work has been done on the car, and the flip-front is great. Each to his own!

Hi, what you mean it is not Nick Ashley's Strange Rover?
The trouble is it is illegal because it should be on the Discovery logbook and not the P5 one. MOT inspectors are now being bought under more pressure to report these sort of vehicles and so will probably require a BIVA.

Trouble is,these types of modifications tend to attract the attention of the traffic enforcers, and then they sit up and mmmmm, how can we extract money from this,or make it harder for them. How many defenders do you see running on early land rover plates?. The bonnet tilt does look good though.
