Not my cup of tea but you have to admire the work that went into it.

Wow that takes me back! I was really into custom cars in the 1970s. Had a complete year's run of Custom Car magazine too - just for the cars you understand, nothing to do with the scantily clad babes.
It looks pretty cool I think, though the yellow one illustrated looks a bit lardy. Show how good David Bache was at styling these big cars; painting the sills black did help to slim them down a bit.

Guys, I can remember this car at a few car shows i attended way before i owned a P5B.I can also recall Martin "Rostyle Reed (my local regional rep) mentioning that he to was offered the car and had driven it, and that the engine /gearbox had been sold on and that the shell ended up as scrap.Later on after the demise of the custom car i met the owner as he had a white coupe that he needed to sell but at the time it was a little out of my budget, but for the life of me i cannot remember his name.I think it was Martin ........? Big Kev.

I too was an avid Custom Car an Street Machine buyer in the Seventies. I remember seeing this car in the flesh a couple of times, and I thought it looked sh*te. The interior was awful, the "bumpers" looked like they had been made from some cheap shower rail and had poor chrome. The wheels didn't suit it either. You could also see the filler where they had filled the door handles. Could have been soooo much better, but I guess that was "customising" in the seventies

I'm pretty sure this this car was mentioned in the early days of the old forum/website. Someone on there was offered it (a pale reflection of what it was) and had bought it. I really can't remember if it got scrapped or not but I definitely read about it...
