Hello, my left side and tail lights quitted working. I have current at the fuse box but no current at the related cable connector in the engine compartment / boot. To have a point to start from: Is there any "known spot" which is prone for causing problems with this cables? Any advice to sort this out?
Thanks Alex

Hi, could it be you have selected the "park" position on the light switch. Try moving the switch back to the central position and then continue to the other side for full sidelights.

Thanks Steve, as my Rover is LHD park position should light up left side as well. So just to clarify, my side / tail light on the left are not working in either position of the light switch (right working fine when switch in main position).

Ah , I see, from memory the localised placed to look would be at the switch. Sorry, don't have access to a wiring diagram to be more specific.

Have you checked the fuses and the connections - each side is separate. failing that ensure the switch terminals are connected and correct

Stupid me: I always checked the side / tail lights fuse, which was ok. Did not realize, that it also will not work on main when parking lights fuse is broken. Now sorted out, thanks.
