If there was a Torque setting I would think the Torque Wrench would be a great piece of kit and way out our price range to buy You've lost me there John! I've had a "professional" Sykes-Pickavant torque wrench for years and I've got a couple of lesser ones in my tool kit. Have I misunderstood you?

That's the problem Richard I thought we were talking about the inner nut and the end float and missed the rest! busy emailing the world at the moment!! The outer nut as Steve says you can find the torque setting for from the thread dia, I have to be honest and say I have never bothered with a torque wrench on anything that isn't engine transmission related! it's down to John grunts again
