I would like some white paint for my 1969 P5B that is the same colour as used by the factory. I have found a thread that lists the composition of various paints, including white and Dover white. Can someone please tell me where I can buy a spray can of paint that would be the right colour for my car? If not a spray can then where can I buy a tin of paint off the shelf?

2 whites were used on P5B (not Dover White though) - plenty on SEARCH but you need to go to a specialist paint factor like Morleys Derby who will match it exactly in 2 pack, celly or waterbased + acrylic in aerosols I thinks
Why does your car have 3 Litre wings?

We the car was rebuild in the 90's it was fitted with Mark III wings and grill. As this was two or three owners ago I do not know why but it is how I bought it. I do have a couple of correct wings but they are the wrong colour and need some work doing to them so will wait until I do a complete respray. Meantime, I just need a bit of paint to patch up the rusty bits.

Hi Dave. I always use a paint company down quayside road in Southampton they will mix the paint in an aerosol can for you while you wait
