Interesting and thanks for posting. It seems the standard wheel nuts are used. On my Jensen alloys and the alloys on my MGB have nuts with washers. I didn't know alloys were fitted with tapered nuts. I would guess these could damage the solt alloy.

I've seen them before Peter. They're very expensive per wheel...close to $600ea AUD. The ad hasn't been very well considered as it states the wheels are only available for 5 studs, yet mention suitability for MGs (4 studs). Someone's not paying attention or slack on research!

Seen it a while ago and thought that it may have been a possible solution to my wheel problem as I can't get mine rechromed ( long story not for now) but I decided that although they were good they were not really right for the car

I actually think they're be a good option...just too expensive! Consider that the wheels would reduce unsprung weight, be truly concentric and allow wider more modern tyres to be used for improved handling, braking and high speed driving!
