Yes Denis the steering wheel has to be removed there is a plate with 4 short screws then 4 long screws holding both halves of the shroud together, the Ign switch I cant say but if you can get a better look at the terminals it may be ok? they were used in several vehicles!

Just checked the parts manual and the numbers are the same

John, then next question, how to remove steering wheel? There are some small Allen grub screws on the center boss these release the horn ring then you will see the large nut with the horn push contact remove the spring/clip/washer. then the nut (disconect the battery it could annoy the neighbors) and the wheel just pulls off the splines

Just checked the parts manual and the numbers are the same If it's a steering column mounted switch shouldn't it be the anti-theft set up? There might be a bit of rewiring to do...
