I have spent several hours fitting...attempting to fit. new rubbers to the drop-glass on all 4 doors of my P5B saloon. The rears weren't too much trouble, but so far the fronts are proving impossible to re-fit.
The stainless strips came off ok, but I can't re-locate the these trims with the new rubbers fitted because of the thick rubber surround at the base of the quarter-lights, that's supposed to flap over the trim once in situ. There seems to be no way to lift the rubber back/up enough to get the trims back on/locate all the spring clips.
Please...has anyone any tips to get these back on?
Many thanks

Have you got the old rubbers to check that the new ones are the same. You could try using a little petroleum jelly (Vaseline) so that they are easier to seat.
