Hi All This has been touched on several times but I can't find anything specific. I have fitted a collision safety cut out switch to the Fuel pump in the boot, it is as simple a task as any task could possibly be.... I have used a basic mechanical cut off which as far as I know is simply a steel bearing mounted in a plastic box that is dislodged on impact. 1. I've fitted it with double sided tape to the tank 2. The power wire to the fuel pump plugs onto it with a wire from the switch then going to the pump. 3. There is a 3rd wire that can be attached to your hazard lights to turn them on if the switch is tripped. Cheap and easy.
