Hi there...
Greetings from Malaysia where I recently found a 1973 Rover P5B Coupe (VIN # 84600483D) as a barn find.
Being # 483 of 502 Export RHD, she was shipped new Sabah a.k.a Borneo which is part of Malaysia and is believed to be the only one in existence here. She’s had 3 keepers over her 44 year life with 29xxxKM on the clock when I found her.
It’s been an interesting journey getting her back on the road, with the ongoing fight with some gremlins... which I hope to win soon!
I’d like to thank members of this forum for the depth and breadth of knowledge I’ve found so useful and Jon Wadham for not just parts but his email support and input as I get this beauty back on the road.
Cheers, Nidthia C

Where in Malaysia are you Nidthia? I lived in Singapore for a few years, 40 years ago. Jurong at first, and then later in Newton Road.

... Singapore isn’t too far away. Indeed. I drove up to KL a couple times, and went up by overnight train once. Also drove up to Malacca, and up the east coast to Kuantan on other occasions. I had a Fiat 124 Sport, then a Citroen GS 1220 Club, and finally a TE Cortina. I haven't been to Malaysia since 1979, and I was briefly in Singapore in about 1990. I probably wouldn't recognise either place now.
