Gentlemen and ladies, ahoy from Africa! Am repainting one of the coupes and need a proper paint colour reference for Admiralty blue and Silver Birch respectively. The websites are woefully confusing. The car is a 1970 model, currently black, originally charcoal brown. My other coupe is Zircon blue - her roof is a very pale grey - not thinking this is the silver birch colour. Rather like it though. Advice, pray?

Lots of info on here. Type in 'colour codes' in the search engine for more detail. ;-)

I doubt if the codes will help too much they dont in the UK but good luck Silver Birch is a very pale Grey!

Thanks so much - my one (Zircon blue) Coupe has a silver birch roof - very pale gray and so very attractive - just trying to establish whether it is supposed to be a metallic colour - not a great fan of metallics. Pity I cants insert a pic here - thanks anyway.

No P5 or P5B came with metallic paint.

Special colours were available to order but I doubt whether metallic paint would have been specified but then .................
Pictures can be inserted using a valid hosting site or direct if they are under the limit - see Icon above

Silver birch is the colour of the bark of the silver birch tree; pale grey.
