Its been a steep learning curve but I have got there and they are made as Rover made them not on Mill Board The first problem was to find the tools to do the job in my case an old Singer Sewing Machine which was supposed to be in good working order so after totally stripping the machine making a new drive shaft to eliminate play setting it all up to sew Hardboard with Foam and Vinyl I had the wrong needles supplied by a "expert in the field of sewing technology" well he said he was I was missing stitches on my practice pieces more research different needles and thread BINGO! finally got the machine to sew 100% but it was toooooo quick for me so I had to make the machine run with a final drive of 6 to 1! one stitch at a time when needed then as per me I gave the machine a respray! well it deserved it as it now runs like a RR. I made a sample card with foam supplied by a upholsterer it was nice but to full more RR than Rover but eventually got the right look with a different foam I tried 2 x 6mm but settled on a 1/2" soft foam supplied by a Furniture Restorer! There is a lot of work in doing the cards but in my case well worth while if you take on the project be prepared to make mistakes but if you learn something "it has been a good day"
The good thing is they fit I have stitched the front cards they are easier to do apart from the size and am now fitting the clips so maybe finished this part by Monday then on to Door Pockets and Armrests, my Armrests are fine condition just look faded they will be stitched on my other machine "thats another story" for another day

The Colours look a bit Grey in my office but they right for a Buckskin interior
