Many thanks Richard. As long as I am happy with it that is all that matters.

Glenn, she's a beauty - looks just like Babs too Always enjoy your pics especially when mine's off the road (again) getting these irritating little running-in niggles sorted. Andy

Good luck Andy. Your interior does look nice too. What impresses me about John's work is the door cards, As I have mentioned before he has used a Eucalyptus board which is waterproof and was very hard to source., He de rusted all the clips and used materials that I compare with the original design. The door rests are exceptionally well done as is the rest of the job. He has taken a lot of effort and time to get the job right and I make no apologies for gushing over the job he has done in making my car look Pukka. .

Thanks for the kind comments Pricey. I am looking forward to seeing J W's coupe when it is finished,(hopefully by the summer ) as he has done the full works on his. I had a look at it when I picked up the interior and looked at the engine/ bay, subframe, rear springs etc and it shows how much work I would need to put in to get it up to that high standard. Give me a couple more years and I may get there.

I think its first class too - wish I could afford to have mine done especially the Coupe door cards as the red vynil is starting to fade and the stitching is rotting

That looks stunning Glen, what a top job I notice though that your car has the little knobby things(correct technical terminology ) for locking/unlocking the doors. Is that a coupe only thing,as my saloon doesn't have them? Martin

Saloons had the traditional british locks from the 30--50's whereas Coupes had modern "Zero Torque! locks which basically meant the ourside key turned only one way to either lock it or unlock it. They were very sensitive to door striker adjustment
