Hi Guys, I have been talking to one or two of the guys about this vinylkote type spray so guess there must be other members considering these sprays. I decided to get a can of the leather Re-colouring spray from frost to try it out on my headrests. I gave it bash and was pretty pleased with the results. They do a matching service but the price is much higher than their stock colours. I used "Biscuit" as it was close to buckskin the aerosol was £12, The matched one is £29. I am not sure how it will look once I re-colour the rest of the interior, I hope that the freshness will die down a little. Colin Original Mulberry Headrest Re-coloured headrest One before one after Re-fitted I did this to compare the "new" colour to the other two faded colours in the car

They will look a bit in your face for a while Colin after the origonal look but after use they will get the natural fold marks that were there back as lines/cracks which will break up the new look

That looks good,is it easy to use? I picked up a tear-free drivers seat for one of my Beetles, but it's the wrong colour!

Dead easy,
You buy a degreasing solution from them give the vinyl a light scrub and wipe then just spray on a few light coats. one can will do two headrests. Just don't be tempted to spray to much on, it is like spray paint and will run. I managed to wipe them off whilst et but it cures after 24hrs and you would need to use some kind of solvent to get rid of them.
I am going to use the liquid leather product on the rest of the interior and give the headrests a run over just to even out the colours.
