morning the fonts of all knowledge re p5s
does one have to cut the doorr rubber to fit door have just received along piece of rubber for door but assume one has to cut them at 45degrees and stick them together advise please on a postcard to "stupid questions from a p5b owner who should no better after 3 years"

Front or Back Andy? the back one you join at the B pillar 45 degrees ,the front one Scott recons to join twice at the top but I only joined once at the B post the front one can go round the front corner ok but the choice is yours have you no instructions with the seal

Take your time when cutting the 45 degrees joints. I did not and I am not too happy with the result. I will attempt to re-do the joints as soon as I can - propbaly have to tease the rubber to stretch it to get enough slack to do it though! Cheers Freddy

I think a lot depends on the inside of the channel freddy I have done a few of these now if the channel is finished without a lump inside you can make a nice job of the corner I did one last week several times and no mater what I did I couldn't get it to look neat because of the channel it looks like it is not in the channel the other side was fine

That's the easy one Andy one profile all the way round leave a little over at the start then when started around the SS frame stretch the rubber slightly as you go when you come to the sticking bit don't try and do it all at once When it comes to the infill bit that seals round the D post I used 1/2" heavy black foam cut to shape Scott uses another length of different profile rubber I may be able to find some instructions
