The inertia reel seat belts on my '72 coupe do not reel back without help . Does anyone know if there is a way to re-tension the return spring. They are the original rover belts. Thanks Steve M

I doubt if you can re-tension the return spring. I tried this some time back and it didn't work so I will have to send them away for re-furbishment. I believe from memory 'Securon' will update your belts, and they advertise in most of the Classic Car mags.

Check out
FDTS Ltd Highfield Works West Byfleet Corner West Byfleet KT14 6LP(Road Map) Surrey Tel: 01932 342043
This company can help with any spec. or type of seat belts and can offer a wide choice of coloured webbing if required. They can also offer classic style buckles and can offer all types of bolts, eye bolts, buckles and fittings.
I am just a satisfied customer of theirs, no other connection.

Thanks for contact details. Webbing and buckles etc. are all good on the originals, so may stick with helping them reel back for now to retain the originality.
