Hi Ken. A new one is not necessary for my car. A good condition second hand one would suffice, as the car is a little like me, worn around the edges, had its heart fiddled with (upgraded to 3.5v8 etc) and will never be concourse material.

WestOz...the badges are all different depending upon the year and model P5. The MK3 (if you can locate one) is the most expensive. Also the grills have subtle variations model to model and do not accept 'any old' badge.

Hence my request for a photo to verify size etc Briefly, my badge is very large, with very little colour. I would happily accept any of the large size badges, there must be an average condition one available somewhere in the World Mine has had an encounter with a kangaroo and is cracked through the centre. Cheers, Tim.

If it's a very large badge it's a mk3 badge (largest of the lot!) I doubt you'll get a 'cheap badge' any where...but who knows? Rover Badges & Miscellany

I got a replacement badge from Scotts in Australia for not too much money though I forget just how much I paid for it. It fit my Mk IIc perfectly and looks great. Now I just have to do everything else to get it running again!

Try Mark Richmond in Ballarat, Victoria. (Scott's brother) Mark dismantles P5 Rovers and sells 2nd hand parts.

As far as I'm aware the P5 MK111 grille badge is the same as the series 1 P6's, assuming that it is a MK111 one that you want, and you might stand more chance of finding one of those.
I think the fixings might have changed on the later series 1s, so it might be that the earlier, the better.
