Hi folks, hoping you could help...
I'm refurbishing the ali plate to which the rear number plate afixes. The ones I've seen are matt or satin black with the raised ali edges sanded down to bare metal to give a shiny ali perimeter.
Once this is done, do you spray with a satin clear coat, or just leave it?

I did mine plate in Satin Black Taz and the digits in base coat silver they were never shiny if yours is a separate plate on top of the original plate with pressed raised digits these were more polished so the choice is yours

They are not meant to be coated by clearcoat but its a good idea
