So...after three years I have finished my engine bay and need to put the radiator back in. Whilst I took photos of most things I dont have any of the radiator mountings and I can’t for the life of me work out how it is fixed in.
The central bolt which fixes to the crossmember just behind the bonnet catch is obvious but I have two rather complex shaped brackets which obviously support the radiator at the sides. But how do they fit? And I bought two nice new rubber bushes when I took it off but again have no idea how exactly they fit on.
I dont think there are any other fixings than one at the top and two at the side. Correct?
Anyone have any pics please?
Thank you!
Steve

OK so now having investigated I have discovered that the person who restored my radiator not only got the top and bottom plates the wrong way round but also soldered the side brackets on the wrong way up
Once you realise that everything becomes clear
It is nice when it turns out someone else’s incompetence is the issue, not my own...

Try these, my side mountings as I found them during strip-down.

Thanks yes it is all quite intuitive, mine fit now. Or they will when the radiator is re-restored!
