Hi all
the cables which run front to rear(ie follow the sill to the rear one side battery the other side do the lights heated rear windcreen). My car was part restored when i got it and has had a lot of welding in thoose areas were the seat base and sill and floor pan meet. Do the wires go through the conerer of the vertical frame on the floorpan which holds the seat swabs where it meets the sill and floor pan? A pic would be good.

No - they up around the do post/top rear wheel arcc under trimmed steel panels .They then go iti the boot at top LH corner jusr to the side of the petrol. Tank. As the HRS was an extra cost option BL were too cheapskate to build the cable into the manin loom and it was just taped to the other two cables.
I can get a picture at weekend as my spares car is outside but its usually too dark etc at this time of year when I get home

Hi Phil
thanks for the reply. Pic would be great of both sides. On the near side the loom must go though the panel which supports the rear seat swabs to got to the rear heater?

Thanks for the pic. I didnt know what trim bit (covering the cable) being refered to has I didnt dismantle the car. The trim bits are in my loft i had often wondered what they were for.lol. Looking at the pic the zig zag shape covered with material goes in first(does the cable go under this?) then the cable cover trim after then the beading?
thansk again Karl

Sorry I took this the other weekend - its under the trim behind the rear seat back after removing both items. The two separate cables are not standard
