Dear Sirs, I finished the restoration of my Rover P5 B coupe with the blessing og the german TÜV engineer and I am now in the trial period. The engine is running smoothly and accelarete good. At 87 miles per hour (78 miles/h measured with GPS) and above, I notice that in the same accelarator pedal position the engine has a smal power loss for a short time. Shortly after, the engine accelarate again. This behaviour is so short, that the travel speed do not change. Did you observed such behaviour at a Rover V8-engine in the past? I will gladly accept any further hints or pointers. Finally, I must point out that this Rover has an electrical fuel pump, which is connected tot he reserve line. Best regards Lutz Kopperschmidt
