Having just stripped my rear doors for repair, I would like some technical information on the small apparent adjuster that appears in the photo below. As can be seen, it has rusted through and needs replacement. My first ‘go to’ was the parts book, in order to try to understand what part this plays in the construction of the frame? I haven’t yet removed the large window seal and suppose that when I do, I will discover how the rear quarter light is attached to the frame. Has anyone any detail of how this ‘adjuster’ affects the frames construction and the best way of accessing it’s mounting point? Also, what thread is it? UNF I assume? Attachment Deleted

It is the pivot pin for the opening quarter light.

Thanks Sam. I have now discovered that after disassembly. The end of the adjuster pin had rotted through and I had to drill out the end of the pin from the quarter light pivot frame. I plan to replace it with one in Stainless. Thankfully, the other side is serviceable.😀
