Stick with your local guy and provide the WSM - £38 p/hr is good! I was charged out at almost 4 x times that before I retired

Hi Harvey have you used them before ? Thanks I will have a word with them I've not used him personally, but I have recommended a few people to him and he has sorted out jobs to their satisfaction. His name is graham (not sure if that's the correct spelling) and IIRC he is actually a member of this forum under the username "grimv8" He's certainly on the Classic Rover Forum. Obviously best bet is to have a chat with him and see what you think.

I spoke to him today he seems good to me but not met him yet.[/quote] Because I've met him, seen some of his work, and spoken to people who have had work done by him. From that I was prepared to put his name forward if anyone asked. When you meet him it will be up to you to form your own opinion. I have no need to have people do mechanical work for me, but he looks pretty good at bodywork and paint as well. Like I say, make your own decision. All I would add is that I have seen work done by other so-called "Rover Specialists" and there's no way that I would do the same thing for them.

I have already learnt a fair bit on here I know I have got loads to learn but that is all part of the fun.
