Hi everyone.
I need to get at the back of the radio to fit a Bluetooth adapter into the DIN jack. Can anyone offer any tips on the best way to remove the radio?

A very easy job, just remove the clips holding the fabric in place under the radio and remove the fabric, then pull the knobs off the radio and then undo the nuts securing the radio and any others under or behind the radio and it should come out. That is if it is like mine ! If is very different to mine just use a bright light to see how it is fitted. There is not a lot of room behind the radio.

No fabric fitted on 3 Litres but otherwise as George says above

Perhaps a picture or two of your radio would help.
It has been a few years, but on my 3 litre, I seem to remember a couple of screws under the centre panel pointing vertically upwards need to come out first.

Does that radio have a din jack? It has a 6 pin DIN 1971 Blaupunkt Frankfurt.

Yep.👍 Undo those 4 nuts or small studs (nuts fitted on my MK3) and the complete centre section of the dash drops down and lifts out.

Morning all, so two small 8mm nuts to remove and the whole unit drops out. I bought a Classentials Deluxe Mono Auto Radio BLUETOOTH Module 6 pin from classentials.
It was literally plug and play would 💯 recommend it if you want to keep the period radio but need some music.
