Just a reminder:
The Club’s AGM is being held on the 29th January and the committee would encourage members to attend and support the running of the club.
Notice of Annual General Meeting on Sunday 29th January 2023 at the DoubleTree By Hilton, Newbury North, M4 J13, RG20 8XY commencing at 11.00am. The meeting is open to all current members of the club and will incorporate the meeting of the Regional Contacts.

I note with interest the lack of response to the reminder about this years AGM. Is it time to rethink how the meeting is held, ie on line if possible. It is a long way for some people to travel especially with the incurred cost at the moment. How many people usually attend on any given year? my understanding is that the meeting is not well attended
There was a suggestion on the Facebook Group about doing it on line via Zoom for this year. Is this a possibility for next year and for the coming year.

For my part I will do my level best to attend weather permitting - 63 miles each way and 1hr 20 each way. I don't use social media.

Wholeheartedly agree.
'Zoom' meetings are the thing of the future, if more members are to be accessed for the AGM. A ballot of members for this, maybe?
Thanks.

It was held online one year during lockdown and I was the only non committee member to attend. I have suggested several times that it should be held at the annual nathional rally like other clubs I belong to. That was there is only one long trip a year.
