Hello, My name is Clément and i live in France (Maine et Loire). I have a Mini Austin for 15 years. Since 2021 my family has grew and i have needed a new car for the weekend rides. I wanted a original car with 4 door, a good engine, before 1970 and in my budget ! I have recently bought a ROVER P5 Mk1 of 1959. The car is in good condition for a car of 64 years but I'm going to need help for restoration… For the moment, i prepare the car for the French technical control and i search the gearbox cover under the tunnel carpet if someone have one ?

Welcome to P5 ownership. Early models are now rare. There is plenty of information on here using SEARCH. We look forward to reading more. There are several P5/PB owners in France

Regards Clément Bonjour Clement, an dcongratulatiosn with a really lovely car. The two-tone colour looks terrific and if you have drum brakes on the front wheel it is a very early car. Perhaps one of the oldest around ? If you give your chassis number on the forum perhaps you can find out just how early it is. It will be nice to see more pictures of the car, also the interior ! Happy Rovering ! Kindest regards, Christopher Oslo Norvege
