Hello all, I am following an intermittent ignition and oil pressure warning light problem. I know I am getting good charge from the alernator and I know the oil pressure is ok. I have lookrd at the wiring diagram and there is the warning lights relay 3AW. I have scoured the WSM but I cannot find where it is. I have looked on the fuse box area and locateted the Alternator control unit and what appear to be two relays.one cylindrical and on thr left of the row of fuses and a box like one above and to the right of it. Unfotunately, all markings are missing. Is it one of these? If not can someone tell me where it is located? Thanks in advance.

The 3aw relay is the cylindrical one you have found (looks like an old flasher unit)

If you have a problem with the 2 warning lights it could be an earth. It depends on the symptoms you are getting I don't think that the 3AW has any connection to the oil pressure light.

Thank you for the information. Yes, there have been some strange indications recently. I had forgotten the old rule "if the symptoms appear to be unrelated, take a look at your earthing".
