Hi Folks
I have done several google searches, but cannot seem to find anything definitive about getting an Crit Air (emissions) exemption for a classic car in France....
From what I have read, your registration doc needs to classify your car as an "Historic Vehicle" ( and cars registered in France need a Carte Grise ) - but the regulations seem to be unclear for foreign travellers... and there seems to be a risk that drivers may be fined based on a decision by the local police...
Does anyone here have either experience of driving in France with these restrictions ? or more information on what you need if you drive there ? Best Tony
