looking for a 7" girling mk2a brake servo unit to fit a 3 litre. plenty online but they are all exchange ones and I have nothing to exchange!!
please message me if you have anything. I think they were also fitted to the P4 and some Aston Martins and Fords with the smaller 5" one being fitted to some Triumphs..

No option to buy one without exchange at extra cost?

It is better long term option to fit the Lockheed Type a fitted to P5Bs - these are simpler and more reliable. They are available new without exchange from Wadhams. It is a simple fit. Our P5 Mk2c was converted 25 years ago.
I have some P5/P4 but I doubt they would be acceptable for exchange and then there are shipping costs to add

I tried for a long time to get on with my Girling on the MkIIb 3-litre as I am a stickler for originality. In the end I decided safety was more important as I drive a lot of miles, and went with a modern servo. You would not know as the servo is almost invisible from above.

My MkIIc P5 works very well with the Lockheed servo after an unsuccessful attempt to rebuild the Girling one.
