I found this little piece of metal in my driveway. I think there is a piece of rubber in there that holds the linkage of the gearbox in place. Approximately 4 cm by 5.5 cm in size. Can't find a bolt to secure it. What size bolt do I need (living on the continent I have only metric nuts and bolts in my workshop)? Is there a thread in the metal or do I also need a nut to reattach this? I don't dare to drive the car now, afraid more bits wil come of. Attachments:

No idea what that is, but, if I had to guess I would check the mounting brackets for the exhaust pipes

Can't reach the holes for the nuts under the car, not enough room with the car standing on its wheels. I used some two-components plastic glue and a tyrap. I can operate the gearbox again - good enough for now. The specialist can solve it properly next time I bring the car in.
