IMO they are pretty ugly. Sorry, but I'm entitled to my opinion.

I'd be interested to know what wheels you have on your P5B, as I assume not Rostyles.

To be fair, they are not a bad alternative for any classic car not just the P5B.

My question was really directed at establishing whether those particular alloy rostyles had been bought by anyone for a p5b and whether they have lasted well.
As my rostyles are not the best, my first plan is to see if I can get a set of 15 inch BBS alloys from my dad's old vauxhall senator to fit, as I really like the look of those, and I already have a very good set. However, they are wider (215/70 x 15, I think) and with the different 5 stud PCD and the limited space within the central wheel nut housing to drill new PCD holes, they would need adapters, which may make them too wide to get on. However, I also have the plain steel spare from the car so I can get that drilled with the correct PCD to see if that will fit on directly and, if it does, whether there is still room to fit the alloys with a spacer.
On the question of alternative finishes, about a year ago when I was taking my wheel cylinders and calipers to Past Parts in Bury St Edmonds for refurb, I visited David Green to see what his powder coated rostyles were like, though I assumed before arrival that they could not replicate the original chrome. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see how almost indistinguishable the finish was from a chrome rostyle. That obviously remains another alternative. Not sure if he still does them. I'm sure he can confirm!
