Third stay at the new garage in charge of Charlie. It's progressing and here are the good news of the moment. 1. The starter has been cleaned and verified. In good order however they told me (probably swapped around 2015-2017 by Jonathan). 2. The exhaust pipe close to the starter had been nicely wrapped and the starter as well which now looks like a mummy! 3. The fuel reserve hose was blocked and is now fully functional. 4. The oil pressure sender has been rejuvenated thanks to ultrasonics. 5. I don't know how but the temperature gauge that was just between normal and hot seats now better in normal zone (just last third). 6. The horn ring contact on the wheel is now easily working. Previously I had to hurt it vigorously to get its sound. 7. 2 gaskets were swapped on the steering box and on the gearbox to stop the oozing (optimistic mood) or leak (pessimistic). Now just 2 problems are remaining (so far...):
1. Oozing between the gearbox and the engine. Not worrying at all. Very light. 2. The Spiyda box doesn't want to work at all despite many hours, many tests and researches done by Nicolas the mechanic. It looks Spiyda devices were intended to work with Smith tachos but surprisingly (for me at least) my tacho is a Geiger (like the speedo). Worse: Chris (Spiyda) is no longer answering to my E-Mail. Not very fair...
I would be very interested in knowing which device would be suitable to help working my tacho and where to find it. I was told that Mark Willows (clocks4classics) might have another solution. Is any of you experiencing the same problem with a Geiger tachometer? Thanks a lot to help my mechanic and myself. We're lost for tips.

Here is Mark Willows' answer: " Hi Arnaud, Yes, I believe the EasyFit Kit will fit this Tacho but to be certain please check the bolt pattern on the back of the tacho against the picture attached below (the case of the tacho may look different from the picture but it is just the bolt pattern that matters). If the bolt pattern does not match the picture then you can use our UniTacho Kit.
Best Regards."
