Over a period of time we have all asked the question where have all the P5's gone. We see the P5B regularly at shows up and down the country but not the 3litres. This last weekend I was at the Purbeck Rally in Dorset, and low and behold, there were 3 P5 coupes, and one P5 saloon. The P5B's were represented by 3 coupes and one saloon. According to the programme one of the 3litre coupes was listed as registered in 1962. Unfortunately after questioning, and checking his I.D plate the chassis number would have put him between the middle and end of 1963. It means the search for the earliest running coupe goes on. The week before at Yeovil there was another very nice 3litre coupe in two tone. I have never seen this one before and unfortunately due to the inclement weather in the afternoon I was unable to get a photo of it. Neither have I seen this colour combination which was the original paintwork. I do know that he is a club member who never goes on this site.
