Unfortunately this vote is bound to be biased. Those who hate this forum and never use it, although regulars on the old site, will not be voting.

;)All polls are biased in some way?
There is no question for those who hate the site - as you say they probably do not use it but some users may not be so enthusiastic with this new one so do not be shy ;D

New site is better but it was an effort to adapt. Change is often not welcome! New site is more work to read all comments. Miss some contributors to the old site (Tom for instance). Feel that the population again got smaller.

I feel a bit guilty about critiquing someone else's efforts in something that I would be completely lost in designing. However, in the interest of providing feedback, these are my thoughts (some of which have been mooted already). 1. I would like to see a dedicated page, or link, or tab to show parts information. This to include sources of spares. Readers to be able to update as information accrues. 2. A page, link, or tab to show readers' project work, such as a cam shaft change, or a modification they have carried out (with pics if possible).
I like this site but had no problems with the old one. Therefore, for me, the deciding factor would be the site designers' preference, as they have the uneviable task of running and maintaining it.

Thanks for your comments. Yes this site does mean a daily check needs to be made and though its not by any means perfect, it does cover many areas that were lacking on the old site. The lack of free time means priorities need to be made.
I must admit I have a slight reluctance to include the two items you have listed (and this may seem somewhat selfish) but both subjects should appear in the club magazine 'Take Five' which I also design and print, in my role as Committee Member and Publsiher, for the club. Currently there is a definate lack of input to the magazine, the now non-existent 'Letters to the Ed' perhaps being a good example.
A balance should be kept for both fee paying club members who should receive the most and thiose who are not, yet still enjoy being part of the Rover P5 community.

I understand your comments and can only agree with them as the task running and maintaining this site must be unenviable. Yes, more letters, projects should be sent to "Take Five" but then such information has to be collated somehow and this then takes up time and space at home. If it was on the site, users could just locate the information electronically and then print off as required. The other point is that people, myself guilty at times, are perhaps more comfortable communicating like this as opposed to what seems a formal letter etc. to the "Take Five" Editor. I also have fallen into the trap of reading selections from this forum in "Take Five" and thought that this was the way it was done. I now know better and will make an effort to contribute.
