Gear and diff oil.. How much? What type?

Can someone tell me how much oil the gear box needs? Also how much should I plonk in the rear diff?

Also of course, what flavour oil should I get??? I'm guessing they both take the same stuff... Could be wrong tho

Manual with overdrive (or was yours Auto?) Manual is 3 pts + 1.5pts for the overdrive for early models SAE 20W (not EP90!)

The back axle is 3 pints EP90

Try Halfords for the diff oil. Castrol do an EP 80/90 . It does not seem possible to get a straight 90.
It should be to GL4 specification NOT GL5. as the additives in the GL5 can destroy some of the softer metals used in the diff
