Not sure if this a request or a warning
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Rover P5 Club, the following was agreed at the last committee meeting (depending on final costs I might add). that all CURRENT MEMBERS of the club (in January 2006) will receive, free of charge a Limited Edition Anniversary book.
The book will contain pictures and brief description (Owner, Model, County) of as many current members (as of 31 December 2005) cars as possible. i.e. If we have 1000 members we have a book with 1000 cars. It's a sort of historical document of who was in the club at its 20th anniversary.
The reason for telling you this now is, as spring is fast approaching and the rally season is upon us, you may wish to take your Box Brownie off that dusty shelf and get clicking.
Pictures will need to be landscape (wider rather than taller) and if possible photograph the car away from other intrusive object such as garden fences, posts, seats etc. Make sure you get everything in - no bits of bumpers out of shot for example. Though should you wish I'm sure we can include the proud owner in the shot.
Ideally digital pictures are my preferred choice, set to the highest resolution possible. Closer to the date I will supply an email (broadband) address should you wish to email the pictures direct to me.
Don't forget, the closing date is 31 December, so no rush, just look for that perfect picture moment.
Details will appear in Take Five over the summer.
