Hello! Just saw my father’s P5B Saloon on this month Take 5 issue and found your excellent site on the internet. Here, I'd like to show you my own P5B Coupé: usera.imagecave.com/rp5/rover.jpgShe is a rare 1969 right-hand-drive export model (chassis-nr. 84600130C) that was first owned by a major of the British forces who was based in Germany. She is finished in silver birch with a burnt grey roof. The interoir is in ebony. The picture shows the car driven by myself on the Hockenheimring during the 2002 Rover rally that was organized by the German Rover club “Rover Freunde Deutschland”. In the background you can see a pre-war Rover from Luxemburg (I don’t know which type it is) and a dark blue P5 MkII Coupé. Regards, Michel Heppner (Germany)

I own her since 2001. I would say that she is in average condition -some panel gaps are not so even and she had some rust bubbles on the front doors.
I think that there are about 15 to 20 P5s in Germany.

The only other German I have written to is GEERT OVER from Munich who has posted his car on my site.
