Just back from a holiday In Florida where,In the Old Town I discovered they had, every Friday,a gathering of classic American cars! It was just like our ones with people sitting behind the cars munching goodies and pouring coffee from a flask-except they were dry!(hurricanes permitting!) Had to take a photo of this one car owners nice way of showing his classic with the exact miniature replica turning round on the engine! Now why didn't I think of that?

Welcome back Davie, glad you did not get blown away in the USA! At the Selkirk Rally there was a guy showing an overpolished Mark 1 Cortina, he had a model of his car in a bottle on a turntable in the boot! He even had the brass neck to park next to Jim Walker on the display line. No Class! How about this display, seen at the 2003 National at Nostell Priory? regards TC

Great photo Trevor. If only we could get a decent size p5 model we could do the same or maybe It's old hat now.I should get a 10" model made of myself with overauls on and spanner In hand and sit that on the engine on a turntable?

You could always use an Action Man figure or maybe Barbies friend, Ken, and put them in overalls!!!
