Indeed very nice interior. I have the same colour in my coupe, but had to redo the colouring, stitching and had to fill up the seats as well. It came out very nice too, but original is of course the best.
Greetings, Carel

Well your car hasn't altered much Richard Where have you been hiding all this year? Looked for you at Powderham, and on Paignton Seafront. Whatever, nice to see you back on the 'forum'. If you ever have to change your tyres for 'Radials' does this mean your handle will have to change to 'radial'?

Thanks for the compliments. The photos are a few years old but the car looks the same. I went off line from the forum and abandoned my car mainly due to personal commitments but I did visit the board from time to time to see what was happening and, as I previously said, the highlight was seeing the sill trim project come to fruition. the finished product was superb. I didn't make Powderham this year as the starter had packed up and there was no time to get it repaired and refitted before the rally. Another small problem is that I have to get the car MOT'd as that ran out on 06062006!! I also need some new rubber and, I am actively watching a certain set of tyres on EBAY at the moment but unfortunately, so is someone else I'm hooked again with no plans to change my 'handle'.....at the moment!

Hi John. Hopefully I will fit Avon Turbospeed or Dunlop RS5 6.70 x 15. These were the original standard tyres for the P5b.The Avon is my prefered choice and has an H rating (Up to 130mph!) As previously posted both these tyres retail at the £150 each mark so I am on the look out for some good used ones. The type of use and mileage I do in my car means that crossplies are ok for me.

Hi John,I'm a bit confused I followed the link to Ebay via sheds posting,he's not selling through this board as far as I can tell. I'm keeping everything crossed for the outcome tonight but I seem to have a rival at the moment

Indeed the tyres were mine - and Richard won the auction; and at an absolutely bargain price; 4 x tyres for less than half the price of one new one! Lovely car by the way Richard! Rgds, Steve.

As Steve said I was very lucky and got the set at a bargain price I was very surprised that I didn't have more competition but you never really know how a sale on EBAY will turn out. Steve has been very helpful in the process and they are being collected by courier tomorrow.I should receive them on Wednesday I just need to replace the seals on the rear o/s cylinder then MOT
