Hi, Here are my first few pics of Babs. I acquired her from David Green at the beginning of this year (he's also supplying the many parts I need and a lot of extremely useful advice to this rookie - thanks David!). At the moment she's being comprehensively refurbished by an experienced restorer deep in the countryside. Hope you like her - more to follow. Andy Maslen. What I have I done! Nice seats though. Ready to go - "I only told you to blow the bl**dy doors off!" Front subframe refurbished (steering box resting by new shock absorber). Rear axle refurbished - note the cable ties holding the renewed brake pipes in place. New A-post welded in (with old rotten one for comparison) New sills in place both sides. Heater box

Bodily it nowhere near as bad as some I have seen and those are running on the road - good luck with it anyway

Nice one Andy, looks like it's coming on steadily. Hopefully will it be finished around late Spring next year? Keep us up to date on it's progress.

Thanks for all the support guys. The wait is killing me so I thought posting a few pics as I get them would make me feel like something was really happening! Next big job is mating the reconn'ed garbox to the engine. Andy

Bigandy, I'm afraid Blues in the key of P5 doesn't mean much except I love playing finger-style blues on my Taylor guitar. Sorry to hear your P5 failed the dreaded MOT. Maybe you're the one who should be playing the blues!!
