Glenn she's an absolute spanker - you just made me sure that I've chosen the right colour scheme for mine. What tyres do you use please? Cheers, Andy

Cheers guys. Andy they are UNIROYAL rallye 185 HR 15. They hold the road with no problem, no squeals into junctions/corners. The next job will be to get the leaf springs off and greased and I will then put the WEFCO gators on. Then the engine out for a rebuild and tidy up of the engine compartment. As a West Ham fan the colour is spot on but I could not put a blue roof on her. ;D

I thought I would post this one too I need to sort out the wipers as they don't return automatically when you turn them off. A small annoyance but all I can think to do is renew the wiper motor.

Hi Glenn. It looks to me like you just need to take your wipers off the spindles and move them around a bit. Hopefully you won't need to replace the wiper motor. Do your wipers sweep across the screen appropriately?

Hi Stuart, yep, done that but I thought they should return when switched off to the wiper clip that sits on the scuttle panel, when they wipe and you turn off they should return automatically to the parked position on the clip. It's a slight problem but otherwise the wipers work fine.

Some really nice pictures, they do look nice in 2 colours, I have to admit ! When the wipers are turned off they should go to the position shown on the photo, then to a vertical position, then drop down and lift off the screen.
It could be that the contacts in the motor are dirty, if you carefully remove the top of the motor the contacts that control the parking position are on the left. Sometimes it can be a problem with the switch

Many thanks. Would you be able to show me (photo if poss) how they should look when parked?
